Linux can't build proper ipsw

Whenever I try to build a ipsw under Linux it seems to work and gives no errors to the console output. But when I transfer the custom file to windows itunes will give a error at the verifying installation stage. I can build under Windows using the same stock ipsw and same command line then everything works.
Linux: Ubuntu 8.04 64bit tested pre-built binaries and my git build.

All bug reports here must be accompanied by exact command-line. If you receive an error from iTunes, the "iPhone Updater Log" from AppData/Roaming or Application Data must also be submitted or else I wouldn't be able to reproduce. Thanks.

I am marking this ticket as invalid for lack of further information. I can and have built IPSWs successfully with Linux. Any problems with that is not likely to be platform specific.

Please re-open, can't deplot image created on linux, 64-bit using current tip.
iTunes error 14 trying to restore image, iTunes log at:
Image built with: ./ipsw ./iPhone1,2_2.2.1_5H11_Restore.ipsw ./iPhone1,2_2.2.1_5H11_New_Restore.ipsw -e "Phone Activation" -s 1024 -memory -bbupdate bundles/Cydia.tar
Tried with various switch combinations, but nothing seems to make a difference. Given up on it for now - spent most of the day trying to get it working before I even realised the IPSW was created corrupt, I'll deal with not having enough root space until I get OS/X back up.
